Aero Industries: A brand built to last

Aero Industries’ initial audience challenge was having large amounts of older information alongside dated product imagery. In working with the Aero team, we started with the most vital product lines and rollouts for new products. What began with informational updates lead to a decade-long partnership to cultivate a brand built to last.

Groundbreaking products

The first product brochure highlight was Aero’s innovative best seller, the Conestoga. We developed CG assets to educate customers by focusing on the Conestoga’s features and benefits, showcasing its groundbreaking engineering. Aero’s tarping systems are designed to configure to multiple makes and models of flatbeds, trailers, and heavy-duty trucks. This presented a visual challenge in using still photography alone. By incorporating 2D, 3D, and CG, we visualized multiple configurations in an easy way to understand.

Our approach was to pull apart complex systems to show the internal working parts and help explain unique components to Aero’s audiences.

As a part of our creative process, we held product video and still shoots, concentrating on detailed and hero shots to complement our 3D assets. This added to Aero’s library of assets which have grown over the years. Today these assets contain resources and digital collateral, including packaged design files, branding, video assets, tradeshow materials, and much more.

People-first culture

Another standout project is Aero’s “Our People” culture video series. Midwest Studios guided interviews with employees and captured onsite footage to craft advertising materials and amplify internal engagement. We spoke with a range of Aero employees—engineering and training managers, HR directors, and sales managers—to gain firsthand understanding of the culture.

Through Midwest’s art direction, design concepts, and video production, we brought together a group of knowledgeable, passionate voices, and showcased stories of Aero’s culture in action. Our work shined a light on Aero’s innovative solutions and industry-leading products, made possible by the commitment to their people. Midwest also created a company in history video that celebrates Aero’s milestone of 80 years of innovation and giving back to their communities.
